1st Month Old
Rashes Outbreak! Dr said is Ezcema. We thought that should be fine, as it was a form of detox. :P
The day when Shaun is born!
28th Jan 2008: The big day has come! The delivery process was smooth and it was a quick one! I was brought to the delivery room at 9am+, hooked up with all the machines and lying on the bed waiting for the contraction to come. Nurse came to check for dialation every now and then. When the real contraction finally came in, the pain started to get severe. At the point where I couldnt handle the pain anymore I finally gave in and asked for laughing gas and the injection. At about 11am+ the nurse told me that i was about 9cm dilated already! It was fast, so they quickly called Dr Hii. At around 12pm+ the nurse started to ask me to breath in and out and push. Then when Dr Hii finally arrived and took over, he said I would not be able to push ah boy out so he utilised vacuum to get the baby out. Ta da! in less than a min Shaun just slipped out from my womb and was brought to me immediately. Think i was a bit blur blur that time cuz of the effect of pain killer, nevertheless, i still remember how little and tiny shaun was!
2 days before Shaun is born
Mummy, papa and grandma went to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple to offer flowers to Buddha. Mummy prayed that the delivery process would be smooth. Frankly I was rather nervous before the big day !! Look at me, with the big tum tum, felt great to have little shaun shaun inside me, hehe

Shaun @ 10 Months + 3 weeks
20/12, drove back to KL at 5.20am. Reached checkpoint at 5.33am and surprised to see so many cars at Woodlands checkpoint already. So many ppl rushing off to Msia at such early hours! Anyway, reached home at KL around 9.30am.
Very surprised to see how Shaun has changed. His look, his eyes, his mouth, his features and everything. and no more Michelin. uhm, cant wait to latch him cuz not sure whether he still wants to latch. Pleasantly surprised, he still latched on like previously and dozed off to zz for his afternoon nap.
Ah boy, havent seen u for 12 days already. Do you miss papa and mama? Do you still remember us? The way you looked at us when we reached home seemed like you couldnt remember us already, which made me a little upset. But good that you sort of warm-up with us pretty fast and crawled towards me when you want hug hug from us. You are a big boy now, I hope you know that papa and mama miss u a lot from Singapore ok!
I will try to travel back to see u every weekend ok!
Soon, we will fetch u back from KL.
Shopping trip on Saturday@ One Utama
Boy, you really love Kai Kai! You were looking around, scrutinising everything outside the car, and talked to yourself when you saw something interesting.
When we reached shopping mall, settling down at the restaurant, you couldnt sit still in the stroller. So now we always bring your porridge and bread out. when we eat, you also eat. Then you wont feel like missing out from the makan table! haha.
We dined at CountryFarm. Gave you the pumpkin soup and some veg. and fed u your bread. Still you not satisfied. So mum who finished the meal fast brought you around and you guai guai looked around, very obsessed with the surroundings, the people, the noises, the colors, and the decor. The Xmas decor is nice! Boy, when you are outside, you just forgot to zz hor!!!
After shopping around, it was time to go home and you just dozed off in the car while on our ride back home.

Okay, finally, I decided to create a blog for Shaun. Shaun's daddy has been taking lots of photos but we just simply have no time to develop and put in photo album. So here you are, this blog is created to keep all my precious' photos from newborn! I wonder how long would I take to upload ah boy's pic from newborn to now since he is coming to 11 mths already!
This is the collage I did to put at my company's deskstop. Think the photos were taken when he was about 6 mths old. He looks chubbier back then!
